PR for Australian TV’s Bondi Rescue lifeguards on their first ever UK visit

“Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were joined for a training session in the hills of Saddleworth, on Tuesday 2nd August by three lifeguards from the hit Australian TV show, Bondi Rescue.
The Bondi Rescue lifeguards, Andrew Reid, Trent Maxwell & Troy Quinlan, are over here for their first UK trip, promoting the message of surf safety. And whilst there is no surf in the hills around Oldham, the work that both teams carry out has some overlap. Mick Nield, Team Leader at OMRT explained: “We had a great evening with the boys from Bondi, and while our working conditions are extremely different we both save lives in difficult conditions and have similar skills in first aid and fast response”.
